heh, me too! I just bought some more solder @ the "shack" (silver and conventional)
The poor lad there knew nothing about solder or electronics components, just cell
phones and newer junk. He apologized to me, and I told him I should know myself
but my ignorance led me to buy both types and I will just use the silver solder on
the FE side of circuits for maximum conductivity I guess :D

RE: finding the bosch relay.
i didnt even bother looking for the correct spec relay. i had 3 relays at home .
1 was 12 volt 40 amp and it had a top contact point to solder a new wire too.
it works fine.
i also used a twin coil relay i had for car spotties. it didnt have a top contact points so i made one up out of some sheet metal. its now a twin coil version and also works well.
ive tried these 2 types of relays and both work. so i say experiment and see what happens.
