Needed a high speed MCU for an FE project, and looked at TI's
MSP 430 and spent a few $$ on that. Well, the C++ language
was very imposing and looked more for real Geeks (sorry!)
So I went ahead and bought an Arduino, actually a RUGGEDUINO.
It is same as the Arduino UNO and is fully protected w/circuit breakerz
and fuses that are re-settable. All I/O pins. Plus, it is EASY TO WORK
and everything I will need is open-Source and the bbs is pretty friendly!
No one actually "spelled it out" for me but if I actually needed that then
I was beyond help LOL!!! It is as easy as it gets IMO.
So I&S and mbbrown, et al. can rest easy... I will of course keep you
all posted with details and such!

Yeah I'll let y'all know how the 'Duino works out.
The UK and euro folks have the PIC programmer
I guess, they say it's identical for all practical
Purposes. Couldn't be easier so far, I'm really
Pleased with the purchase and programming
So Far. I may need a faster MCU in the future
but afaik this will at least let me prove (or Disprove)
The Concept and for Cheap, Too!
