I want to thank everyone for all the help! My IRO is working fine and I can charge at a 1 to 1 ratio.

Once I have had some time to test I will post some results!

Can someone please post a link where I can order a Bosch relay? I am not having much success with the one from radio shack. I think its getting to hot? I am not sure. Can the Bosch be purchased from Autozone? Is there a schematic to wire up the Bosch?

Most good Car accessory stores should stock this relay. Brands other than bosch work well too as long as they have the normally closed contact. It is an automotive relay

Hey thank you mbrownn. Do you happen to know if it is wired the same as the one from radio shack? And do you know a part number for Auto Zone? Or do I simply ask for a Bosch relay?

I don.t know about the radio shack relay but these relays usually have the circuit diagram on the case of the relay

I need so help in finding a Bosch relay. I went to autozone today and asked for a 12v bosh relay and they asked me for a part number. I said I did not have one and then they asked me for the application and I did not know what to say.

So needless to say I left empty handed. I have been looking online and I cant seem to find them either?

UPDATE:

I think I have found one on-line http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdet ... er=330-073 is that the right one? Or would someone happen to have a link to the right one for me to order?

Yes that looks like the ome. It has both the 87 and 87a contacts.

Just an update my IRO works great! Using the relay from parts express. Hows everyone else coming along?

The forum is very quiet at the moment, I hope its because we are all working on our projects. I haven't made much progress myself, just need to get my butt into gear and get on with it.
